We all know the famous Dr. Oz, a.k.a “America’s Doctor.” He holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University, an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Warton School. He is the author of many books pertaining to maintaining good health. Opray Winfrey had him on her show as a guest before he acquired his own television program called “the Dr. Oz Show.” It’s no secret that he’s been rocketed into the spotlight as the standard doctor for wellness and general health topics. He has aired many episodes containing many subjects, but by far the most talked about and discussed episodes he’s launched have been the ones relating to weight management and weight loss. At the top of popularity is his episode entitled “Fat Busting Metabolism Boosters.” In this episode, Dr. Oz outlined many weight loss supplements and products. Specifically, the ones that he thought were the safest, healthiest, and most effective.
This episode of weight loss products showcased five products, all of which seemed to be over-looked in weight loss efforts. Let’s just say that after the show aired, every product he featured has skyrocketed in popularity. Konjac Root Fiber is a weight loss supplement that helps people to eat less. It has the strange ability to absorb water, which fills the user’s stomach. As a result, it helps curb the appetite. Dr. Oz also showcased Shirataki noodles, a.k.a. magic noodles, which are similar to the root fiber because they’re a way to stop hunger in its tracks—calorie free. When users fill up on this stuff, they make better food choices because hunger doesn’t influence their decisions of what to eat as much. L-carnitine is probably one of the more popular featured products on the show. It burns fat cells as energy. It’s obvious that this increases the amount of fat lost, but at the same time it’s a great way to feel energized without crashing like a user of caffeine would crash. Also showcased on the show was White Kidney Bean Extract. This is the only carb-blocker that he featured. It works by stopping the enzyme that breaks down carbs. Eating too many carbs definitely results in weight gain, so limiting how much is absorbed is to the user’s advantage.
The last product, which was featured on the show, is raspberry ketone. Dr. Oz introduced raspberry ketone as the organic compound contained in raspberries that is the reason raspberries smell so wonderful. After it’s been supplemented and synthesized, doc suggests that raspberry ketone increases fat loss in a few different ways. Raspberry ketone works by regulation of glucose metabolism, and elevating fatty acid mobilization. Basically, the regulation of glucose metabolism can decrease insulin production. Links have been made between too much insulin production and excess fat storage. Elevating fatty acid mobilization enables your body to quickly burn fat stores for energy, which decreases body weight notably. Scientific studies have shown how effective raspberry ketones can be, so we firmly believe it’s the future of the weight loss supplement industry. No side effects as a result of using raspberry ketones have been brought into light so far.
